Master’s in Education with licensure in Special Education (M.Ed.) 

The Master's in Education (M.Ed.) with licensure in Special Education (ages 5-21) provides students with the essential critical thinking skills needed to accommodate all learners in the classroom. From elementary education to secondary education, in a general classroom or a special education setting, you'll be prepared with the tools and experience to succeed.

Paths

  1. Earn a Master’s Degree in Education and licensure in Special Education
  2. Earn only a license in Special Education
  3. Take courses for professional development/CEUs; up to two courses count towards the M.Ed.
  4. Earn tuition-free master’s degree through full-time Fellowship Program

Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice 

The Criminology and Criminal Justice graduate program prepares students for leadership roles in various agencies and in the justice system, equipping them with the knowledge and skillset to advance in the field.

Tracks

  1. Thesis: For those interested in researching a topic for two semesters while completing coursework. Students may work with faculty and field professionals through their desired thesis committee to publish articles. This track is for those interested in pursuing a higher degree. 
  2. Professional: For those who are interested in strengthening their skill set in two substantive topics— crime typologies and crime mapping. Students will enhance their professional marketability with this additional knowledge. 
     

*Students may choose a 10 hr./week internship for the entire semester or complete two credit special topics courses in both paths. Graduate housing is available.

Master of Public Policy (MPP) 

Advance your career in just one year with Saint Anselm College’s 4+1 Master of Public Policy Program. The MPP program will strengthen your research, communication, and analytical skills and build your policy expertise with an emphasis on rigorous empirical analysis and ethical reasoning and decision making.

  1. Thesis: Join our research track to contribute to evidence-based policy research and collaborate with communities to address pressing policy issues. This track will prepare you for a career in policy analysis or further graduate study.
  2. Professional: Join our professional track to gain real world experience through an impactful internship capstone. This hands-on approach places you in a professional setting apply your skills and build a network while addressing key policy changes.
