FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
* The Anselmian Abbey Players Present: "Cabaret Night"
7:30 p.m. (Dana Center Theatre)
Step into the unexpected with the Abbey Players' fall cabaret: "Miscast!" This unique performance features Broadway's greatest hits reimagined through nontraditional casting. Watch your favorite songs brought to life as you have never seen or heard them before by talented Saint Anselm students. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of bold performances, creative interpretations, and pure theatrical magic. See you at the show!

Welcome/Check-In Table

Stop here to check in and pick up any pre-ordered tickets, t-shirts, and Fun Run information. Also, pick up a copy of the weekend schedule that includes sport events, Dana Theatre shows, student club performances, and many other weekend events.

10 a.m. (begins on the Campus Green roadway adjacent to Dana Center)
This fun run/walk through campus will award prizes to the top male and female runners in the following categories: Age 13 and over both male and female; Age 12 and below both male and female. All participants must sign in between 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to receive their runner's bib number. Registration fee is $12 and includes a Fun Run T-shirt.
Jazz Band Student Performance

Come enjoy a musical performance by our own student Jazz Band.
Family Weekend Reception

The reception will be hosted by our College President, Dr. Joseph Favazza. Family and friends are invited to enjoy light refreshments and meet members of the monastic community, faculty, administrators, as well as student representatives from various clubs and organizations.
Spotlight on Summer Student Research
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Outside the Event Space, Roger & Francine Jean Student Center Complex)
Saint Anselm College’s summer is alive with researchers! Students, under the direction of faculty mentors, worked on significant research projects over the summer. The Saint Anselm College Honors Program along with the College’s NH-INBRE Program provide Summer Research Fellowships to support these efforts. Together, these groups form a summer research community. We will have some of these student researchers; both from Honors and INBRE programs share poster presentations with families and guests in attendance.
Rescue Team Blood Pressure Screening

The Campus Rescue Team will be holding a free blood pressure screening for families. Feel free to stop by and say hello while checking your blood pressure.
Open Skate

Multicultural Day Celebration
12 – 2 p.m. (Campus Green – rain location is Carr Center)
Multicultural Day is an annual event in September to celebrate the beauty of diversity within our campus community, featuring food, performances and art.
Chapel Art Center
1 p.m. (Chapel Art Center)
Fr. Iain MacLellan, O.S.B., Director of the Chapel Center, will lead a brief guided tour of the current exhibition Collection Review, Selections from the Permanent Collection, Including Recent Acquisitions. Come to view the most recent works added to the permanent collection, grouped among related works which are forming various concentrations within the collection, such as 18th century early American furniture, European Renaissance era religious works, and modern American works. This is also an opportunity to view the treasured Agnus Dei Ceiling Murals which decorate the ceiling of the Chapel Art Center. Completed in 1930, the mural decoration represents one of the most important artistic treasures at Saint Anselm College. Rich with extraordinary color and design, the ceiling is replete with a unique blend of artistic influences, imaginative symbolism, biblical references, and Benedictine iconography. The Chapel Art Center building was designed by the famed McGinnis and Walsh architectural firm early in the 20th century.
Note: The gallery will remain open until 4 p.m. for post-tour lingering or for those who cannot make it for the tour.
Archaeology Dig

Peter Boie first became fascinated with magic at the age of eleven when he stumbled across a magic book at his local library. He performed his first professional show at the age of 16 and has never looked back. He has been featured on the hit TV show Penn & Teller Fool Us and is a best-selling magic inventor. The Magician for Non-Believers show is about two things, astonishing magic, and having a good time; and he does not skimp on either. Combining original mind- blowing magic and a heavy dose of humor is his secret to success and why it has made him one of the top-booked acts around the country. Do not miss this opportunity to see his show.

Brunch does require the purchase of a ticket including current students. Brunch tickets may be purchased in advance or in the Davison Hall lobby when you arrive Sunday morning. Children 8 and under will not be charged for their ticket. Saint Anselm College students are permitted to purchase only one brunch ticket with their meal plan in the Davison Hall Office.
Mass

Geisel Library’s Annual Book Sale – Check it out!! The library’s annual book sale runs throughout Family Weekend and offers a wide selection of books. Stop by and browse through this eclectic assortment of books, there is something for everyone.
