Elevating Excellence: Planning for Our Future
Strategic Plan 2024-2027

Shortly after the Jean School was established in July 2023, a committee convened and began the process of developing the School’s first comprehensive strategic plan. The plan is a result of nine months of data gathering, focus groups involving the School’s many constituents, and students. With an inclusive focus, the School formed a steering committee with representation from Jean School faculty, staff, and students, the monastic community, and Saint Anselm College faculty. The strategic plan closely aligns with Saint Anselm College’s core values and Vision 2025-2030, and will launch the Jean School into a new generation of nursing and health professions education, building on Saint Anselm College’s legacy of distinctive educational excellence in nursing and liberal arts.

It’s an exciting time for the new Jean School. This strategic plan is a roadmap that builds upon our strengths, launching our organization into a new future. I am confident that our new Mission, Vision and Strategic Pillars will collectively advance inclusive educational excellence and innovation, impacting our region and continuing Saint Anselm College’s history of preparing health care professionals of the future.

— Diane M. Uzarski, DNP, MPH, RN, dean of the Jean School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Strategic Plan Pillars

More than 70 years ago, Saint Anselm College made history by innovating a pathway for educating nurses at a time of community need. By establishing the Jean School of Nursing & Health Sciences, we honor that legacy and celebrate our identity as we continue evolving to meet the urgent national demand for skilled, ethical, healthcare leaders.

— Joseph A. Favazza, Ph.D., President of Saint Anselm College
