Learning Outcomes
After completing this program, students will
- Demonstrate scientific reasoning skills and will be able to apply scientific principles to health and life sciences-based problems.
- Develop a broad foundation of knowledge in the different health science disciplines that span the different levels of organization from the molecular to a whole body to society.
- Prepare students for entrance into postgraduate work in healthcare fields (physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician associate, athletic training, and pre-pharmacy).
- Demonstrate effective written, oral, and reading communication skills with stakeholders in the health sciences, including patients/clients, other health care providers, and the community.
- Demonstrate ability to identify ethical issues and to evaluate them rigorously from multiple perspectives, as it relates to the health sciences.
