Why This Campaign Matters

Founding the new Jean School of Nursing and Health Sciences is an unprecedented opportunity for Saint Anselm College to become the catalyst for a change, ringing in a new era of healthcare workforce development and leadership both in our communities and nationwide.

But supporting the Jean School for Nursing and Health Sciences isn’t just about funding a new building. We know you understand the growing complexity and challenges of healthcare professionals in our world, and we share your concern for what this means to people of all backgrounds in our communities—and across the nation.

There will always be a need for nurses. Won’t it be best if they are equipped for that incredible work at a place that helps prepare them to offer themselves wholly to the care of others? Saint Anselm does this, and does it well. I want to make sure they can continue to for decades to come. If you feel the same way, please consider joining me in my support for this amazing project.

We asked ourselves, ‘What can we do that is truly important to the next generations of students?’ In our view, the School of Nursing and Health Sciences has everything to do with expanding the marketplace for liberal arts—and liberal arts is what Saint Anselm does best.
