I teach courses including American government, women and politics, congressional politics, social justice, and campaigns and elections. I serve as the Politics Department internship coordinator, and the director for the minors in Public Policy and Campaign Management.

Each summer, I am a coordinator for NEW Leadership New England, a five-day summer training program for undergraduate women designed to educate, engage and empower young women for a future in public service.

A native New Englander, I am originally from Massachusetts.  I received a B.A. in Political Science from Providence College and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland - College Park. I worked and interned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and in the Massachusetts State House, and as a research assistant for National Journal.
