A wonderful way to get involved with the community at Saint Anselm is through Meelia’s major service events. The Children’s Holiday Festival, a cherished Christmas tradition at the college, is open to the entire community. Additionally, the Halloween Dance and the Valentine’s Dance provide enjoyable afternoons of dancing and singing for people of all ages with physical and developmental differences. The kickball tournament and Dance-a-thon unite the campus for fun and fundraising, addressing both local and national needs. Throughout the year, additional events take place in the community.

The annual service events provide a fantastic opportunity for Saint Anselm students to engage in activities that benefit the entire community. Each February, we host the Valentine's Day Dance for individuals with cognitive and developmental challenges, gathering in the Carr Center for dancing, crafts, photos, and food. Due to popular demand, we have recently added a Halloween Dance to the fall semester calendar. A wide variety of clubs and athletic teams volunteer to help make our dances successful, creating many special memories for our guests.
