Professor Childs was part of the planning committee and presenting faculty for the college’s inaugural Nursing Education Bootcamp. She is also a member of the nursing program’s Daisy Award committee, which brought the esteemed nursing award for students and faculty to the college for the first time in 2024. Her graduate work included contributing to the development of a Preceptor Workshop for clinical staff at Saint Joseph Hospital. She is excited to be presenting at the college’s Nurse Educator Conference in 2025. Professor Childs is committed to continued professional development and is passionate about supporting students both personally and professionally.
