The median price for a two bedroom apartment in Manchester has increased 58% over the last decade. Problems with the housing market in Manchester are due in large part to zoning regulations.

The Center for Ethics in Society at Saint Anselm College invites proposals for research papers on the ethics, law, or social science of self-defense and firearms, to be discussed at a workshop on November 11-13, 2022.

The latest Ethics in Our World event was a faculty-student dinner discussion with Dr. Ann Holbrook of the English Department. The question of the evening was, “Why are men going to college in fewer numbers than women and then doing worse when they get there?” 

The most recent Ethics in Our World public discussion was led by Dr. Meg Cronin of the English Department at Saint Anselm College. The conversation centered around character, whether it is something that can be changed, and literature’s role (or lack thereof) in that process.

On Saturday, February 5th, 2022, the Saint Anselm College Center for Ethics in Society hosted the Goodchild Regional High School Ethics Bowl, an official stage in the National High School Ethics Bowl competition. 

The 2021 Housing We Need stakeholder roundtable forum was held at Saint Anselm College on December 10th as a hybrid event.

The Center for Ethics in Society has received a grant to launch an Ethics in Policy initiative, extending our expertise in state and local public policy beyond just housing issues. 

The Center for Ethics was pleased to host Tom Bell, a Culture and Ethics Consultant from the United Kingdom, for a virtual Ethics Lab with students at Saint Anselm College.
