We learn about politics by studying the world and reflecting on what we have observed.

Both sociology and social work provide students with valuable insights into the relationships between human beings and the societies in which they live. The programs are designed to prepare students not only for an occupation after graduation, but to provide students with the skill sets necessary to lead lives as engaged citizens.

At Saint Anselm, you will find an emphasis on research and experiential learning, with facilities and courses designed specifically for hands-on investigation. Our faculty will mentor you joining you in the classroom, the laboratory, and in the field.

Our degree programs prepare students to work effectively in industry and government jobs, and to enter graduate programs.
