The Transitions Program is designed to assist new incoming students who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds (such as minoritized racial/ethnic backgrounds, first-generation, income-eligible, and commuter ) with their transition to Saint Anselm College. The program is meant to strengthen the academic, social, and cultural experiences of students to increase their success at the Hilltop. Transitions includes a 4-day experience before orientation, an assigned peer mentor, workshops and social events throughout the first year, and individualized support from professional staff to guide students throughout their college journey. Through participation in the program, students will gain a deeper connection with campus resources, faculty, staff, and peers to ease their transition to college life. The Transitions Program is a collaboration between the
Fr. Jonathan, O.S.B. Center for Intercultural Learning and Inclusion and the federally grant funded, TRIO Scholars Program.
