Laetare Sunday Communion Breakfast

The Office of Alumni Relations and the Department of Campus Ministry cordially invite you to a Laetare Sunday Communion Breakfast. The day will start at 8:30 a.m. with Mass in the Abbey Church, followed by a brunch in the President's Dining Room in Davison Hall. At brunch, there will be a special presentation, "Women of the Old Testament: Victors, Victims, Virgins, and Voice", given by Dr. Ahida Pilarski of the Saint Anselm College Theology Department. Sapientia: Women, Wisdom, and the Word - A Virtual Retreat

Join us each Wednesday of Lent for a mid-day, mid-week pause for reflection and prayer. To honor the 50th Anniversary of Women's Education at Saint Anselm College and to celebrate the contribution of women in the life of the College and the Church, alumnae, faculty, students, staff, and friends will offer a reflection on the upcoming Sunday Readings for each week of Lent.

Join us for this 2 day in-person event that brings together experts, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to explore critical issues impacting community well-being and equity. The conference features insightful sessions on pressing topics such as loneliness, infectious diseases, drinking water inequities, cannabis, cultural humility, and the role of community health workers, homelessness, H1N1 influenza, and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Target Audience- This conference is ideal for nurses and other healthcare professionals who practice in a variety of public health settings.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Gain insights into multifaceted public health challenges and innovative solutions across diverse populations and settings.
  • Acquire evidence-based strategies, best practices, and policy recommendations to address key public health issues and promote health equity.
  • Enhance skills in cultural humility, community engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and crisis response for effective public health practice.
  • Foster networking opportunities, collaborations, and partnerships to strengthen public health initiatives, resilience, and community well-being.
