Join us for an engaging and educational symposium designed for nursing and other health professionals dedicated to post-stroke patient care. This event features sessions on a variety of critical topics, including the challenges of stroke mimics in EMS, quality improvement through documentation, acute and step-down care complexities, rehabilitation scoring, and hospice and palliative care options. Equip yourself with insights and practical strategies to elevate the quality of care you provide.

Learning Outcome
Participants will deepen their understanding of post-stroke patient care, enhancing clinical competencies through the exploration of pre-hospital, acute, and rehabilitative challenges, effective documentation practices, interdisciplinary care strategies, and end-of-life considerations.
Target Audience:
The symposium is tailored for nursing professionals involved in the care of patients following a stroke, including:
- Registered Nurses working in emergency, critical care, step-down, or rehabilitation settings.
- Advanced Practice Nurses such as Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists who play leadership roles in stroke care.
- Nursing Leaders and Managers focused on quality improvement and care coordination
- Educators and Case Managers responsible for training and guiding stroke care practices
- Interdisciplinary Team Members interested in enhancing collaborative care, including those involved in EMS or post-acute transitions

These rovers have mastered a range of gambits, stunts and tricks that will leave you begging for more!
