The mission of the Saint Anselm College Archives is to document the history of the college and the people who are a part of that history through identifying, collecting, preserving, and providing access to college records that have historical, legal, fiscal, or administrative value.

The four Special Collections contain books and manuscripts about a variety of subjects collected by the college: the Lavalliere Franco-American Collections; the O’Rourke Saint Anselm Collection; the New England Collection; and the Rare Book Collection.

Lavalliere Franco-American Collections
The Lavalliere Franco-American Collections at Saint Anselm College contain a collection of books and periodicals as well as a collection of manuscripts and archival materials collected by Franco-Americans in New Hampshire and across New England. Our collections include unique items from organizations and personal papers of Franco-Americans documenting the culture, language, and history of the Franco-American communities of New England and the United States. While some materials are in English, the majority of the collections are in the French language.

Give to the Geisel Library
The Memorial and Honorarium Book program was established to support the addition of books to the College's library, and to provide donors with a unique way to mark special moments in the lives of of family and friends. Occasions have included births, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, retirements, ordinations, the feast day of a patron saint, Christmas, class gifts, and the passing of a loved one.
