Saint Anselm College and Catholic Medical Center (CMC) have received $2 million in funding secured by U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) to build a new innovative health care facility on Manchester’s West Side.

Students interested in science, people, and community health, can now major in Saint Anselm College’s newest academic program, a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. 

On March 22 and 23, 2022, Anselmians took time to look back at their time at Saint Anselm College and made gifts to support its future during the 8th Annual Days of Giving campaign. This year’s campaign raised more than $1.1 million from more than 3,900 donors.

The 8th Annual Celebration of Research and Scholarship returned to the DeCiccio Reading Room in Geisel Library after a year on Zoom. The works of faculty who had published works of research and scholarship during 2021 were on display across the room. 

The Camino de Santiago, known in English as the Way of St. James, is a famous Christian pilgrimage route ending at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. 

On February 18 – 19, 2022, a group of students gathered to discuss the collective, but also individual, experiences of people of color (POC) at Saint Anselm College, a predominantly white institution during the annual Unity Retreat.

Dr. Sheila Adamus Liotta has been named Saint Anselm College’s Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA). She begins on or around July 1. The position was previously held by Br. Isaac Murphy O.S.B., who is now executive vice president.

During the last week of winter break, 20 students set off to Center Point, W.V. and Manchester, N.H. for the service portion of the Anselmian B.R.E.A.K experience.

The creative and engaging efforts to promote diversity and inclusion on the Saint Anselm College campus were in the spotlight at the third annual President’s Innovators Reception on Feb. 3.
