The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) welcomed 25 new students into the Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassador Program on January 28.

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics is pleased to announce that 26 of our Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassadors were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester. 

A new poll conducted by the Saint Anselm College Survey Center (SACSC) at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) finds the political environment deteriorating for incumbent officeholders. 74% of New Hampshire registered voters now believe the country is on the wrong track, versus only 16% that believe it is headed in the right direction.

On Dec. 9, the NH Business Review recognized Executive Director of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, Neil Levesque for his work in New Hampshire through the magazine’s New Hampshire 200 Awards.

Ryan Heath ’22 is a senior economics and marketing double major from Salisbury, N.H. He’s also a program co-chair for the Kevin B. Harrington Ambassador Program at the college’s New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP).

Due to the implementation of new health and safety regulations presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ (NHIOP) Kevin B. Harrington student ambassadors have had a particularly challenging responsibility for maintaining engagement. 

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics will host Carlos Lozada, The Washington Post’s Pulitzer Prize–winning book critic and author of “What Were We Thinking: A Brief Intellectual History of the Trump Era” on April 26 at 7 p.m. via ZOOM.

The Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassadors hosted an election watch party on Tuesday, November 8, open to all Saint Anselm College students.

Emily Burns ’22 and Robert Zaleski ‘22 have been awarded the Albert H. Gordon Summer Research Fellowship at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) for the summer of 2021.

The Academic Advisory Committee of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) has awarded Professor Chani Marchiselli, Ph.D., of the Department of English, the Jeanne D. Smith Incentive Fund.
