The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) welcomed 25 new students into the Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassador Program on January 28. In addition to politics, their majors include criminal justice, business, history, international relations, communications, international business, and education. They represent every state in New England, as well as New York and Minnesota.
“We are very excited and impressed with this year’s new ambassadors,” said program chair Ryan Heath ‘22. “They are eager to get involved with the Institute, and I look forward to seeing all that they add to the program.”
The Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassador Program now has 86 members. The ambassadors play key roles at NHIOP events as they greet, usher, and introduce guests, in addition to leading civic engagement programs on campus. They each serve on one of the program’s four committees – civic engagement, communication, community outreach, or student events.
