Despite the rain, excitement ran high on Thurs., Aug. 19 as Saint Anselm College’s newest students moved onto campus and began orientation.

On Friday, August 20, 504 new students and 64 orientation leaders volunteered with 25 non-profit community partners throughout the greater Manchester region for the college’s annual Brian Maguire Day of Service during their New Student Orientation.

One of Saint Anselm College’s newest programs for first-year students, Hilltop Academy, has taken the summer experience to an exciting new level this year.

Foregoing the many usual summer jobs that college students take on, approximately thirty Saint Anselm College students spent their summer conducting research both on and off campus in several areas of study.

This spring, 12 students were inducted into the Alpha Eta Mu chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education.

In a ceremony held this spring, 94 students were inducted into Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success.

Jillian C. (Bailey) Belmont ’08 recently won the 2021 Excellence in Nursing Award.

Danielle Abdennour ’22, a biochemistry and French double major, has been selected to receive the 2021 Dr. Marie C. Chabot-Fletcher and Mr. Robert Clayton Fletcher Endowed Research Fellowship Award.

This spring, 43 Saint Anselm College students were accepted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national scholastic honor society for first-year college students.
