CLUB SPORTS

Looking to continue playing your favorite sport or considering something new? Club sports are the perfect way to compete at a high level while having fun in a team environment. Saint Anselm offers 11 club sports opportunities, from downhill skiing to men’s and women’s rugby.

Club sports enrich the student experience by providing social, recreational, and educational opportunities to all members of the Anselmian community. The majority of our club sport teams are competitive and compete inter-collegiately. Intramural sports, ranging from co-ed volleyball to indoor soccer, are month-long programs with teams assembled by students and playing against other Saint Anselm students.

Saint Anselm College club sport teams are student-run organizations, recognized by the Student Government Association (SGA) and overseen by the SGA Secretary of Club Affairs with advisement from the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership Programs.

Club Sports promote leadership development and physical activity and enrich the student experience by providing social, recreational, and educational opportunities to their members. While a club sport team may identify itself as being primarily competitive, instructional, or recreational in nature, the majority of our club sport teams are competitive and they compete intercollegiately by joining a regional league.

Please see Intramurals for sports that compete within the Saint Anselm College Community.
