New Hampshire Institute of Politics hosted a panel discussion on February 22, 2023, with constitutional scholars to discuss the evolution of the Supreme Court in the modern world. The panel had a range of expertise, including former New Hampshire State Supreme Court Chief Justice John T. Broderick, Villanova Law Professor Michael Moreland, and Saint Anselm Professor Christopher Galdieri. The event was moderated by University of New Hampshire Law Professor John Greabe.

On Tuesday, September 20th on the Alumni Quad, Saint Anselm College and the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, in partnership with the campus vote project, held an exciting event entitled National Voter Registration Day. 

On September 20, 2022, at Saint Anselm College, students, faculty, and staff had the privilege to hear a fantastic lecture from a Dartmouth College professor and a New Hampshire State Senator. Dr. Russell Muirhead, Professor of Democracy and Politics, presented his lecture, "Belief in the Legitimate Opposition”.

On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Saint Anselm students gathered in the LLC Classroom to work towards finding common ground on whether or not the drinking age in the United States should be lowered.

On October 20, the Gregory J. Grappone ‘04 Humanities Institute hosted a lecture as part of the 2022-2023 Big Thought series. 

Republican candidate Karoline Leavitt faced off against incumbent Chris Pappas at a congressional debate hosted by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on October 25, 2022.  

Student ambassadors attended the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s Ithaca Initiative National Student Dialogue, hosted by the Biden School of Public Policy & Administration at the University of Delaware. 

On Monday night, a public debate co-sponsored by the Kevin B. Harrington NHIOP Ambassadors and the college debate team took place in the NHIOP auditorium.

Authors Dr. Robert D. Putnam and Shaylyn Romeny Garrett visit the New Hampshire Institute of Politics to discuss their book “The Upswing: How America Came Together a Century Ago and How We Can Do It Again.”
