Safety and Security Office
The Saint Anselm College Department of Safety and Security is located in the Daley Building on Saint Anselm Drive across from the main entrance to the College. The department employs full-time uniformed officers who patrol the campus 24 hours a day and respond to a variety of calls including all emergencies. Call 911 for all emergencies or 641-7000 for non-emergencies.

Parking and Vehicle Registration
All Saint Anselm College students must apply for a parking permit online. Motor vehicle regulations are in effect throughout the year to include all breaks, weekends, and holidays. Vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas during these times.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service of the Geisel Library Reference Department. Its purpose is to support the research and educational needs of the Saint Anselm College community by borrowing materials not subscribed to or owned by the Library.

The librarians' goal is to assist students with their research and help them cultivate information literacy skills. These skills contribute to the ability to think critically and are vital for lifelong learning.

Forms of Instruction
All library sessions are tailored to specific class assignments and most often include hands-on active learning activities that enable student to practice their research and information literacy skills, as well as begin their research with the librarian and course instructor present. Library sessions may cover any number of topics, such as how to search the library's databases and how to critically evaluate sources.

Assignment Ideas
Course assignments that integrate library research and information literacy are an effective way to develop students' critical thinking skills with the additional benefit of discouraging plagiarism. A well-designed research assignment provides students with an opportunity to explore and integrate information resources and encourages them to think critically about information sources.
