These results are from a Saint Anselm College Survey Center poll based on online surveys of 2083 New Hampshire registered voters.  Surveys were collected between July 24th and 25th, 2024, from cell phone users randomly drawn from a sample of registered voters reflecting the demographic and partisan characteristics of the voting population.  Names were presented in random order for the favorability and ballot questions.  The survey has an overall margin of sampling error of +/- 2.1% with a confidence interval of 95%.  The data are weighted for age, gender, geography, and education based on a voter demographic model derived from historical voting patterns but are not weighted by party registration or party identification.

Saint Anselm College Survey Center July Poll Finds Harris Currently Leading Trump by 6 Points Among New Hampshire Registered Voters

A recent poll conducted by the Saint Anselm College Survey Center (SACSC) at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) finds Vice President Kamala Harris, now the expected Democratic nominee, holding a 6-point (50% - 44%) lead over former President Donald Trump among registered voters in New Hampshire. Harris' favorability rating stands evenly at 49% for both positive and negative opinions, a significant improvement from President Joe Biden’s 39%-59% net negative rating last month. Harris enjoys strong support from more liberal voters, with 92% of somewhat liberal and 95% of very liberal voters backing her, surpassing Biden’s 83% and 67% in these groups.

Ethics in Our World

The Center holds monthly gatherings open to the general public at various breweries in Manchester. Each gathering features a presentation of no more than 15 minutes by a Saint Anselm College faculty member or expert from the community on an important moral controversy, followed by 45 minutes of guided discussion.

Annual Statewide Survey of Voter Attitudes on Affordable Housing

What do New Hampshire voters think about the affordable housing crisis? Since 2020, the Center for Ethics in Society has administered an annual statewide poll of voter attitudes on affordable housing. While every year has seen an increase in the percentage of voters who support the development of more affordable homes, the most recent poll in 2023 saw dramatic changes in the pro-housing direction.

ANIMAL CLUB

The purpose of the club is to promote awareness about animal welfare, animal-related issues, and to provide students with the opportunities to engage in animal-oriented volunteer opportunities within the Manchester, NH area.  Furthermore, the club will provide additional resources for students interested in learning about veterinary medicine by having opportunities to participate in activities and seminars from veterinarians. The club will facilitate volunteer activities and trips to local animal centers, shelters, and hospitals. The club is open to all students with the desire to learn about both small and large animals, and the human-animal relationship.
