Topics include identifying and responding to chest pain, hypertensive emergencies, dissecting aneurysms, and cardiac dysrhythmias. Participants will review evidence-based treatment protocols and gain practical guidance on determining when to activate emergency services, transfer to the ER, or manage conditions in outpatient care.
 

Learning Outcome:

  • By the end of this program, participants will be able to evaluate and differentiate emergent cardiac conditions in ambulatory care settings, implement evidence-based treatment protocols, and make informed decisions regarding the appropriate level of care, including when to activate emergency services, transfer to the ER, or manage conditions in outpatient settings.
