We can all agree that Saint Anselm College is special. Our community of students, faculty, staff, monks, and alumni come to us with different backgrounds, beliefs, passions and voices. But there is one uncommon character trait that we all share: Each of us is an Anselmian.

Caroline Kiley ’24
Meet Caroline Kiley ’24, a superstar senior whose four years at Saint Anselm has been filled with remarkable resilience and impressive accomplishments.
It’s impossible to miss Caroline on the Hilltop, as she’s actively involved with the Meelia Center with roles as the manager of the Community Center at Saint Raphael’s parish, and FAPNO coordinator. She’s also participated in Campus Ministry’s Road for Hope and Anselmian B.R.E.A.K. as well as the Food, Clothing and Furniture Drive (FCF).

Valerie Diaz
Meet Valerie Diaz — you’ve probably seen her smiling face in Alumni Hall and definitely received many emails with her name on it. That’s because Valerie is the maestro who makes Dr. Favazza’s office run so smoothly. She is the executive assistant to the College President and has lots of interesting connections at Saint Anselm College. Salvatore "Sal" Parent '25
Meet Salvatore “Sal” Parent ’25, who is often seen waving to classmates with a smile as he zips to one of his many activities. And Sal is pretty much everywhere. In addition to being the student body president, he’s a men’s club soccer player and Admission Ambassador — previously holding roles as an RA, Meelia Center volunteer and student leader with the Hilltop Academy and Transitions programs.

Meet Professor Jaime Orrego, who is the chair of the Modern Languages and Literature Department here at Saint Anselm. He’s been on the Hilltop for 14 years. He is also one of two professors who are Faculty Athletics Representatives for the college. Joe Venuti ’22 enjoyed his Saint A’s experience so much, he wanted to stick around for another year!
As a graduate student, Joe is now pursuing his Master's Degree in Criminal Justice thanks to the college’s CJ 4+1 accelerated program. You’ve probably seen him at the Savard Welcome Center where he’s worked as a graduate assistant and Admission Ambassador over the last few years.

Nicole Gugliucci
Meet Nicole Gugliucci, assistant professor of physics here at Saint Anselm College. As an astronomer and education researcher, Gugliucci said she’s always been interested in scientific questions and what’s going on in the Universe. Perhaps you’ve even seen her looking through telescopes at the college’s observatory! 🔭⭐️🌞🌛

"Hi guys, I’m Connor O’Brien and I’m a senior here, which is crazy! I’m an Economics Major from Westminster, Massachusetts. You’ve probably seen me on the Hilltop because I’ve loved getting involved with so many activities.
During my four years here, I first joined Campus Ministry and since then have had the pleasure of working with Student Government Association, Alumni Ambassadors and the New Student Orientation program. I’m excited to be featured in the latest #EverydayAnselmian video. Just wanted to let you know that I have a stutter, so I appreciate you bearing with me at times if my speech gets a little choppy. Jillian Barrett '24
Meet Jillian Barrett '24, a Spanish and Secondary Education major from Worcester, Mass. Jillian has already been making an impact at Saint A's. As a tutor team leader with the Meelia Center, Jillian has formed meaningful connections with high school students in the Manchester School District. She has also given several talks to the college community, including a reading at the Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner and a True Life discussion about what it's like growing up biracial. #EverydayAnselmian
Keith Morse is the printing king of campus. Keith has worked for Saint Anselm College for 37 years and is the manager of the print shop. He ensures that designs and communications get on paper and he prints everything from diplomas to COVID signage on campus. You can find him at the shop located in that small but iconic brick building behind Alumni Hall. Get to know Keith in this Everyday Anselmian video, where he gives us a behind the scenes look inside the print shop and talks about some memorable moments.
If you’ve been inside the Jean Center in recent years, you’ve probably seen Brandon Maldonado helping out Anselmians. This Junior Criminal Justice major from Lawrence, Mass. is an Impact Fellow for the Meelia Center For Community Engagement and a peer mentor at the Center for Intercultural Learning and Inclusion. Get to know Brandon in this Everyday Anselmian video where he shares inspiring advice he’s been given, a famous condiment snafu story and more!
Madison Hediger is a biochemistry major and Junior at Saint Anselm College from Marlborough, Massachusetts. Madison said a highlight of her time on the Hilltop has been working as an Orientation Leader. “It’s important to me that when new students come to Saint Anselm, they feel that sense of hospitality and community right away.” Madison also has quite the unique presence on the Saint A’s Instagram page.
Grace D'Antuono is an international relations major, minoring in French, Spanish, and history. Grace is a student ambassador for Admission and NHIOP, and works as a student coordinator in the Meelia Center for Community Engagement, supporting seven sites. Her favorite Saint A's tradition is Road for Hope: "I think it's something that is very Anselmian."
For the past 30 years, Gary Bouchard has been teaching Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature and other special topics and classes including some in the Conversatio program.
His favorite campus memories are "recreated every April 23rd when alumni and others come back to read all of Shakespeare's sonnets ... all day long, in rainy weather, in sunny weather ... those memories themselves become memories and they all compound over the year."
Vicky Cassidy has worked for the campus Bookstore for the past 10 years. Her favorite part of Saint Anselm is the community: "It’s the Anselm, Anselmian tradition, it’s the heart of the campus; it's the students, it’s the faculty, it’s the staff."
Sarah El Khoury is an English major, peer minister, resident assistant, and very active with the Campus Activities Board and student activities; she's the entertainment director for CAB.
Fr. John is a philosophy professor and member of the Board of Trustees for Saint Anselm College - serving on several committees, and the Board of Directors for the Woodside Priory School in California.
Madison Mangles is a politics major with minors in history and campaign management, an NHIOP student ambassador and supervisor in the Survey Center, an Alpha Phi Omega member, a research student for the politics department, and a writer with the broadcast club. She also helps out with the annual Relay for Life.
Josh Hughes is a computer science with business major, SGA President, and an NHIOP student ambassador and orientation leader.
English major Abby St Jean is a member of the Campus Activities Board and future participant in SBA and Road for Hope.
International relations major Dennis Aveta is an NHIOP student ambassador, a member of the men’s soccer club, and he's involved in the Intercultural Center.
Eleni Rizzos is a nursing major, YWCA volunteer, orientation leader, and an ambassador for both the Admission and Alumni Offices.
