On April 20th, 2022, 3 students were inducted into Sigma Pi Sigma, the National Honor Society for physics.
Membership in Sigma Pi Sigma is by invitation. Students must carry a GPA that puts them in the top one-third of their class and have completed at least three semester courses in physics.
Sigma Pi Sigma was founded in 1921 at Davidson College, NC, as a member honor society of the Association of College Honor Societies. Today the society has some 90,000 historical members.
The three inductees for the 2021-2022 academic year are:
- Ryan Cormier '22, math with economics major
- Michael Rochette '24, physics major
- Carl Zent '24, physics major
