The Anselmian Abbey Players, who celebrate their 75th anniversary this year, presented “Clue on Stage” in November.
The Gregory J. Grappone Humanities Institute presented Blue Bird Jazz performance featuring Economics and Business Professor Stephan Unger on piano, and Philosophy Professor Montague Brown on upright bass.
Katherine Bentz, Ph.D., professor of art history and fine arts department chair, visited the Chapel Art Center salon to study a selection of art materials and works of the baroque period from the Chapel Art Center permanent collection. She was assisted by Br. Celestine Hettrick, assistant curator, and Gallery Attendant Katelyn O’Leary ’25, with her class “Art in The Age of Spectacle: The 17th Century, from Caravaggio to Vermeer.”
Saint Anselm College Trustee Ray Rothrock visited campus earlier this year to participate in a CEO breakfast held at the NHIOP. The nearly 35-year distinguished venture capitalist has been a longtime board member, and former chair at Woodside Priory School in California, a Benedictine sister school to Saint Anselm.
Head football coach, Joe Adam, was named the Northeast-10 Conference’s Coach of the Year. The team made program history in 2023 by finishing with a 5-2 record and a second-place finish in the NE10 standings, which were both program bests.
The raising of the class banner may have been the leading event during the Class of 2027 banquet held during orientation, but the dinner and dessert, such as this cheesecake, were also star attractions.
Fr. Basil Franciose, O.S.B. ’17, student-athlete support coordinator for Saint Anselm Athletics, helped prep the field at Grappone Stadium before the Homecoming Weekend football game.
In celebration of Civic Engagement week in September, NHIOP Kevin B. Harrington Ambassadors provided information about voter registration to students.
The community was invited to bring pets to a welcome back event hosted by the Class of 2026. The Favazza family basset, Shiloh, who turned two that weekend, was happy to be in attendance.
