On Wed., Oct. 20, 31 nursing students were inducted into the Sigma Theta TauInternational Epsilon Tau-at-Large Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing.
To be inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing an undergraduate student must have completed half of the nursing curriculum, achieve academic excellence of a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grade point average system, rank in the upper 35 percent of the graduating class, and meet the expectation of academic integrity.

Membership into Sigma Theta Tau provides students with research opportunities and professional connections. Inductees receive a subscription to the “Journal of Nursing Scholarship and Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing.” Students are also invited to join events sponsored by the Epsilon Tau at-Large chapter.
