To the Saint Anselm community,
The story of Easter is a beautiful one, reminding us that love is greater than suffering and that faith rewards us with hope. The Pascal Mystery tells us that death does not have the last word and that we are made for resurrection and new life.
As members of the Saint Anselm community, we are called upon to live out the values of our belief and to be beacons of hope and compassion in the world. I am truly lifted by the kindness, generosity, and selflessness of our community and how we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
As we gather with our families and loved ones to celebrate this special time, let us remember the true meaning of Easter and seek to embody the spirit of renewal and new beginnings that it represents. Let us pray for the health and well-being of those around us and those beyond of Hilltop, and let us give special consideration to our monastic community as we enter a time of prayer and reflection in preparation for the selection of the next abbot.
Please know that Paddy and I wish all Anselmians a happy, hopeful and blessed Easter.
Warmly,
Joseph A. Favazza, Ph.D.
President
