Infinite Hope
This year Saint Anselm College’s annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., takes inspiration from a quote from Dr. King’s February 1968 sermon “Shattered Dreams,” in which he states: “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Black History Month, and the College’s 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebratory Program, Geisel Library is highlighting items from our collection that focus on Dr. King’s life and reflect his message of hope for social change and vision of an equal society.
