On Monday, June 26, 2023, alumni and friends gathered at Nashua Country Club for the 31st Annual Alumni Golf Tournament, raising around $50,000 for Saint Anselm College scholarships.
“The Alumni Golf Tournament provides much needed scholarship aid for our students,” said Joseph Emmons ’04, assistant vice president of alumni relations and engagement. “I am grateful for the generosity of our alumni, and all of the players and sponsors who have participated and contributed to the success of this important event.”
Until thunderstorms and a downpour ended the day early, 32 foursomes competed using the scramble format, with contest holes spread out on the course. In the abridged version of this tournament, Adam Harnish, Eric Harnish, Matt Harnish ’13, and Glenn Harnish won the Chancellor’s Cup with the lowest overall score. After making their way back to the clubhouse to escape the weather, players ended the day with a reception, silent auction, raffles, and a delicious dinner.
The tournament was presented by Hays/Brown and Brown Insurance Company. Thank you to all of the members of the golf tournament committee, the Office of Alumni Relations, the Office of College Advancement, and all of the student volunteers who made the event possible.
