In this role, she led a dedicated team of approximately 170 \nprofessionals, including lawyers, investigators, paralegals, medical experts, \nand support staff. In addition to her managerial duties, she played a \ncritical role in overseeing complex investigations and prosecuting \nhigh-profile cases, such as public integrity crimes and homicides.\n\nThroughout her distinguished 30-year career at the New Hampshire Department \nof Justice, Young held numerous leadership positions, including Director of \nthe Division of Public Protection, Chief of the Criminal Justice Bureau, and \nChief of the Drug Unit. She began her legal career as an Assistant County \nAttorney in the Hillsborough County Attorney\u2019s Office. Young earned her \nJuris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of \nLaw and her Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College.\n\nLiana Pennington is a member of the Saint Anselm College faculty, \nspecializing in criminal law, criminal procedure, police surveillance and \ncyber law.
