Board Recruitment Reimagined: Winning Strategies for Any Community

Remote

March 5, 2026
9:00 am EST - 10:30 am EST

Finding qualified board members and people to serve on committees and boards often feels like searching for a needle in a haystack - today more than ever. But what if changing demographics, younger leaders with different opinions, and your tight-knit community are actually your secret weapons?

This dynamic workshop will change your approach to board recruitment by leveraging geographical limits, generational differences, and innovative strategies. You can build engaged boards and committees from untapped areas of your community while providing a best-in-class volunteer opportunity for local leaders. We'll also share some real stories of nonprofits who have leveraged unique ways to attract new volunteers, and also a different way to think about term limits. Perfect for anyone tired of recruiting the same five people for every board position. Also applicable to staff of all levels charged with recruiting and leading volunteers as part of their role.
