Community Engagement
We believe volunteering helps us become active and engaged citizens who make a difference in our communities, both near and far. It’s at the core of our Benedictine heritage through the values of hospitality, community, love, and stewardship. It’s what makes us Anselmian: creative, generous people fostering positive social change. Through our partnerships and work in community, Anselmians learn and give. They develop a global perspective that stays with them long after they graduate.
Students spend time in community volunteering through classes and community engaged learning as well as through various co-curricular opportunities.

Saint Anselm is committed to developing partnerships for community engagement. Through these relationships, we learn together about community needs, the root causes of social issues, and ways to foster positive social change.
