Astrophysics
Offered as a minor


The Astrophysics minor is designed to give students a rigorous background in the scientific study of the Universe at the planetary, galactic, and cosmological scales. Students who complete this minor will apply scientific knowledge and analyses to contemporary problems in astrophysics, such as star formation, galaxy evolution, and cosmology. This minor is designed as appropriate preparation for graduate work in astronomy and astrophysics for a student with a background in the physical sciences.
