In September 2021 the Grappone Humanities Institute launched podcast called “Humanity Examined.”
This monthly student-produced show engages with individuals of all backgrounds from the Saint Anselm College community and the greater New Hampshire area, inviting teachers, students, artists, and people from a variety of fields and backgrounds to tell their own stories about how the humanities have animated their lives.

The Gregory J. Grappone Humanities Institute will sponsor “A Long Strange Trip: The Culture of the Grateful Dead,” a week-long series of discussions on the cultural impact of the band from Tuesday, Oct. 22 to Friday, Oct. 25.

Saint Anselm College was excited to welcome students back to the Hilltop beginning on Jan. 20. For the spring semester, the College has made some adjustments both in academics and student life to support a positive student experience.

On Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., we will be meeting via Zoom to discuss "Yellowface" by R. F. Kuang.
"Her novel became a best seller. The trouble: she didn’t write it. In “Yellowface,” R.F. Kuang satirizes the publishing industry with a tale of a struggling writer who passes off her recently deceased friend’s book as her own" (New York Times, 2023).
